Thomas Shighwedha won the 2019 National Cross Country Championship in the 10km Snr men race after gruelling duel with Kefas Kondjashili and Shaliaxue. After exchanging the lead over the course of the race Thomas sprinted away in the last 200m of the race to take gold, followed Kefas and Shaliaxue in third. The Snr women was won by Tangi Mulundu with the Athletics Club taking a clean sweep, with Theresia Nambambi and Kauri taking second and third places respectivelly.
