Athletics Namibia successfully hosts the 2020 National Track & Field Championships

The Independence Stadium in Olympia in Windhoek was treated to very exciting athletics duels in various events. The event was well organised and on time. According to Athletics Namibia president, Mr Erwin Naimhwaka, the most exciting thing about the Championships was that the youth and junior athletes did exceptionally well. AN resumes with athletics activities

Athletics Namibia is resuming with its activities. This is after the athletics events were halted and postponed due to Covid 19 state of emergency regulations. There are still 3 track and field events to go.  AN Grand prix leg 4 will be on the 31 October at Independence Stadium in  Windhoek. Athletics Namibia suspends events and competitions due to the COVID-19 pandemic

Athletics Namibia has suspended all athletics events for duration of 30 days as declared by the Government and Namibia Sports Commission.
