Beatrice Masilingi gave excellent performance at the MTC National Youth Games currently under way in Rientfontein. She clocked 11.38 seconds in the 100m, while she also ran an excellent time in the girls 400m of 51.07seconds. Silver Tuane also had an excellent day in the girls shot put, throwing a new Namibia National Record of 14.56m, which is just a few milimeters of the World Youth qualification standards. Action will continue in Day 2 and final day of the competition.
