The Dr Sam Nujoma Half Marathon that was scheduled to take place on the 21 May 2017 in Windhoek, has been postponed till further notice.  Athletes and the public will be notified once the a new date has been finalized.  Athletics Namibia sincerely apologize that we are not able to host the event on the date it was initially planned.

Marginalised Athletes at the Nationals

Athletics Namibia is happy to welcome athletes from marginalised communities at the National Track & Field Championships. As part of AN’s development program in corroboration with former athletes Kaura Kaura and Mao Tjiroze, five athletes from Opuwo will take part in the Nationals. They are: Kuariouje Hunga (5000m), Isaak Ndiambo (5000m), Mahindi Tjipuiko (5000m), Paseuatjo Mbendura (10000m), Turitjimue Zatjinda (1500m and 800m).
